Organized by: The California Alfalfa Workgroup, University of California.

The California Alfalfa Symposium has become the important source of information relating to irrigated alfalfa production in Western States. The 1 1/2 day program is an intensive educational program on subjects related to alfalfa production, marketing, forage quality, pest control, harvest, equipment, irrigation, and soil fertility related to alfalfa. It includes a trade show and an opportunity to talk with growers, seed people, marketers, and University scientists. Last years' joint symposium with Nevada featured more than 650 attendees, 38 exhibitors, and 35 speakers. This year we expect a dynamite program in the heart of the the highest-value agricultural region in the world: The San Joaquin Valley of California.
