Welcome to the Symposium Auction information page for the 2007 California Alfalfa & Forage Symposium.

The auction was such a success in 2006 that the Alfalfa Workgroup decided to host it again on Tuesday, December 18th, 2007 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The California Alfalfa & Forage Association is sponsoring the auction and the proceeds will be donated to their organization. The success of the auction depends on the generosity of exhibitors, sponsors, equipment companies and others who donate items to the auction. Items for the auction can include pesticides and fertilizers, lab analysis, equipment or equipment rental, seed, tarps, and twine to name just a few agricultural items. Donors may include more general items like a weekend at a resort, a whitewater rafting trip, race tickets, baskets of goodies, a day at a spa, DVD players, tool kits, leather jackets, laptop computers, TVs, cruises or anything unique that can generate funds. All items will be displayed prior to the auction in the exhibit area, either directly or via photo (depending on the size of the item and the space available). A description of the donated item will include the name of the group or company that made the donation.

There will be free appetizers and a no host beer and wine bar at the auction, which overlaps with the Exhibitor’s Reception, held from 5:00-6:30 p.m., in the same area. This is a good way to find out more about the exhibitor’s products and services, and have fun mixing with the other participants.
