News & Announcements

Thank You

Thank you for making the 2006 Western Alfalfa & Forage Conference a huge success!

Join us at 2007 California Alfalfa & Forage Symposium this year. For Information and website links, read below.

The 2007 California Alfalfa & Forage Symposium will be held at the Portola Plaza Hotel and Monterey Convention Center. The symposium will begin on Tuesday morning, December 18, 2007. Sessions are in the planning stage, however they will likely focus on economics, crop management systems and the fundamentals of alfalfa production. This will coincide with the publication of a 25-chapter management guide for alfalfa, Irrigated Alfalfa management for Mediterranean and Desert Zones, and many of the authors will be presenters at the symposium. The tour will be on Monday, December 17, 2007, tentatively from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, and it will likely include visits to a vegetable transplant operation, an artichoke production site, a winery and the National Steinbeck Center and adjacent Agriculture Museum.

Do join us at 2007 California Alfalfa & Forage Symposium.
